Kidepo Airport
Kidepo Airport is small airfield in Uganda. The airport is located at a place called Lomej, approximately , by road, south of the headquarters of Kidepo Valley National Park It is in extreme northeastern Uganda, approximately , by air, northeast of Entebbe International Airport, the country’s largest civilian and military airport.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Nautical Distance Between Kidepo and Entebbe with Map )〕
Kidepo Airport is one of the 46 airports in the country.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 Uganda )〕 It is a small civilian airport that serves Kidepo Valley National Park. It is one of the 13 upcountry airports that are administered by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority. It is also one of the five upcountry airports that are authorized to handle cross-border air traffic from the member countries of the East African Community, in an effort to promote tourism in Eastern Africa. The other four upcountry airports with similar authorization include: Arua Airport, Gulu Airport, Kasese Airport, and Kisoro Airport.
